Louise Gray Womenswear A/W12

The mohawk is back but its now full frontal. Scottish-born designer Louise Gray created another collection full of fun, punch, pop and colour, but what strikes me the most is the hairstyles the models had. Fantastic.

Vodianova by Testino for Vogue Us March'12

These pictures blew my mind away. All elements of the interior spaces compensate with the colours, materials and textures of the outfits to create an absolute vision. Testino and Vodianova at their best.

Platic Bag + Leaf + Carpet = Maison Martin Margiela S/S12

Saying that I love the new Maison Margiela collection for the S/S 2012 is not enough. The two main materials used in the collection are the transparent plastic bags and the beautifully decorated Persian carpets. A genious combination of the contemporary one-use object and the complexity of the artisan's craftmaship of the rugs. Dating back to 6th century Persia, the luxurious rugs formed the "runway", and served as inspiration for clothing. Plastic wrapping was first explored in Margiela's A/W02 collection and transparency has been a key theme throughout the house's history.Illustrations by Tom Baxter

at Home with Agyness Deyn

'WOW!!' was my reaction when faced with these images of supermodel Agyness Deyn's house in trendy Williamsburg.
The edgy contemporary boysh look she created for herself has little to do with what this rooms express: a funny chaotic crossbreed in between a vintage shop, an 'African safari village and a tea saloon of late 17th Century France'.

Diptyque Boutique in New York City by Chrisopher Jenner

Interior Designer Chrisopher Jenner is well known for his luxurious taste. The studio has worked with the Diptyque family at the London store Liberty, and the project was so successful that Diptyque gave the designer carte blanche for the renovation of its New York store.
‘For me it was really about discovering the brand history, finding the true essence of that brand and what that really represents,’ says Jenner.
Founded in 1961 by three friends, Diptyque originally produced printed fabrics, so Jenner decided to take some of those original prints and incorporate them into the designs of the wallpaper and the fabric.

at Home with The Eames

The Eames House in Pacific Palisades (1949) is a beloved icon of the midcentury modern movement. Taking its references from the Bauhaus movement, the house is far from the austerity of the movement. The house is a beautiful example of a functional form that provides a shelter for a confortable, decorative, personal and cosy living.

a Very Theatrical Menswear Boutique

Entering Shoreditch’s manwear shop Hostem is almost like stepping into a thearical set. The store is designed by duo artist/interior designers JamesPlumb, famous for their atmospheric interior spaces. Maybe the beauty of this type of shops is the feeling one has of finiding something really special and unique hidden under the dust.

Seung-Yong Song Furniture

Designer Seung-Yong Song creates his objects starting from memories of his childhood.
Kids love hiding under the table, inside a wardrobe and in the attic. Based on this behaviours, he created confortable and 'protected' furniture that looks like a bird's nest where to hide and feel cozy in. Something in between a furniture piece and an interior. love it.

Inside Saga Sig Magical World

These photographs by Icelandic photographer Saga Sig are so magical, fantastic, playful like coming from another world. This lady from the woods is now living in London and working for clients such as Topshop, I-D online, Dazedz&Confused UK, Dazed Japan, Dazed Korea, Nylon Mexico, Indipendent Fashion Bloggers, and so on.

at Home with Courtney Love

Hole has been one of my favourite bands for some time and I've always been curious to know how Love's house would look like: rock, girly, trashy or glamourous...So when I bumped into these images on ElleUk I was a little disappointed. The whole atmosphere of the apartment has a slightly romantic-decadent feeling to it but none of the elements really stand out. The rooms are filled with blend antique objects and textiles combined with Damien Hirst originals and decorative vintage lace dresses on top of light blue damask wallpaper.
